Welcome to the home of Lakehouse Photography. My wife Iori and I have recently moved back to my hometown of Fort Erie, Ontario, on the shores of Lake Erie and the Niagara River. I have spent the past 14 years living in the picturesque city of Kyoto, Japan. It was there that I rekindled my love for photography.

I truly believe that the simple, yet exquisite beauty of Japanese art and culture has contributed greatly to my shooting style. I've been told that I have the ability to capture the essence of a person by clicking the shutter at just the right moment. I'm not sure about that, but clients do seem to be at ease in front of my lens.

I've been focusing on portraits recently but I have experience in commercial shooting, landscapes, photojournalism, and of course weddings!

Though I'm starting a business, I prefer to think of it as starting a new way of life. Having found out where my true passion lies somewhat later in life has proven to be a benefit rather than a hindrance. All the places I've been and experiences I've had, help shape my photographic vision.
